Doña Amparo or Amparo “Amparing” Pico Chan to which the school’s namesake, was the matriarch of the Pico-Chan Family together with her spouse Virgilio Chan Sr. raised 10 children. Contrary to the school’s prefix, Amparing was a simple woman with impeccable entrepreneurial skills. She honed her children to be hard-working, competitive, productive, adaptable and responsible members of the society, back in the day the family sold their trending RTWs to towns they carefully choose to set their mobile shop. This hustle gave way for their children to be now successful people in their respective fields. To date her children are now professionals and a force to reckon with in their chosen field of work. To which she could have been a Doña.

After completing the training, you must take the TESDA Competency Assessment for your chosen course.
Claim Your TESDA Certificate!
Once you pass the assessment, you can claim your certificate from the assessment center
This module covers the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to begin your pursuit of a National Certificate for Organic Agriculture. It includes an overview of the Organic Agriculture Industry in the Philippines, the Fundamentals of Organic Agriculture, and Organic Certification. This is a prerequisite course for Raising Organic Chickens, Producing Organic Vegetables, Producing Organic Fertilizers, and Making Organic Concoctions and Extracts.

This module covers the knowledge, skills, and attitude required to produce organic concoctions and extracts for owned farm consumptions. This module includes procedures for the preparation and production of 11 known organic concoctions and extracts.

This module covers the knowledge, skills, and attitude required to produce organic fertilizers which include tasks such as preparing compost site and raw materials, carrying out composting methods, and harvesting compost.
